Chimney Fires

Cowls and Terminals

weddings pageIn folklore, the luck of chimney sweeps dates back to King George II. It's alleged that a brave sweep stepped forward when the horses pulling the King's coach bolted; the sweep safely pulled up the horses and saved the monarch.

The King was so pleased that he made a Royal Decree declaring that all chimney sweeps are good luck bearers and must be treated with respect; this tradition continues today.
